SNB Capital Multi-Asset Moderate Fund

SNB Capital Multi-Asset Moderate Fund is an open-ended Funds which aims to achieve a balance between capital growth and capital preservation over the medium to long term, by investing in a diversified portfolio of asset classes.

Principal Investment Strategies

The Fund invests in investment funds units that invest in the following securities:

 

  • Money Market instruments: these include, but are not limited to, Money Market Transactions and investment funds investing primarily or partially in Money Market Transactions approved by the CMA or licensed by other regulatory body according to regulations which are equivalent to that applied in the Kingdom.
  • Sukuk: these include, but are not limited to, listed or non-listed Sukuk, including Sukuk initial offering, Sukuk-linked Certificates that are issued by Governments, Sovereign entities, private sector such as corporates including financial entities.
  • Listed Equity: these include shares listed in stock exchanges, inside the Kingdom –main market- or outside, initial public offerings (IPOs), and priority rights. In addition to the Certificates and investment funds investing in listed equity.
  • Other Investments:  these include, but are not limited to, securities that invest or recognize a return related to the following investments: Trade, Supply Chain and Working Capital Finance, Agricultural Investments, Infrastructure Investments, Real Estate, private debt instruments, agriculture lands, private equity, Leasing, Asset-backed Investments, real estate investment traded funds (REITs), gold and others.

Benchmark
The Fund does not have nor follow any Benchmark. However, the composite of 50% 1 month SAIBOR + 50% MSCI ACWI Islamic M-Series (Net Total Return USD) will be used.

Minimum Investment

Minimum Subsequent Subscription
USD 1,000.
Individual Saving Program (ISP)
26 US dollars, which equal 100 Saudi riyals.
Minimum Redemption
USD 1,000.
Valuation Days
From Sunday to Thursday provided that they are Saudi Business Days.
Dealing Days (Acceptance Subscription/Redemption Days)
From Monday to Thursday provided that they are business days in Saudi Arabia and the United States
Subscription / Redemption Request cut off time
Before or at 11:00 AM on the Saudi Business Day prior to the Dealing Day.
Subscription Fee
Up to 2% of the Subscription amount upon each Subscription in The Fund.
Management Fee
1.25% of the net asset value of the Fund.
Other expenses
The Fund Manager charges the Fund other expenses such as Custody fees, auditor fees, remuneration of independent directors of the Fund Board, Shariah Committee services fees, CMA fees, Tadawul fees, as well as administrative, data processing and operational expense. However, other expenses are not expected to exceed 0.50% of the average value of the Fund’s assets during the financial year.

Principal Risks of Investing in the Fund

  • The Fund is considered to be of Medium risk, and SNB Capital gives no assurance that any appreciation in the value of the Fund’s Investments will occur, or that the value of the Fund’s underlying investments and the income derived from them may go down.  SNB Capital gives no assurance that the Fund’s investment objectives will be achieved.
  • The past performance of the Fund or the Benchmark is not an indication of the Fund’s performance.
  • The Fund does not guarantee that its absolute performance or its performance relative to the Benchmark will be repeated or similar to any past performance.
  • Investment in the Fund is not a deposit with any local bank that promotes or sells securities or affiliated with the Investment Fund or the Fund Manager. Therefore, Unitholders might lose some or all of their investments.
