SNB Capital Sovereign Sukuk Fund

The Fund aims to provide long term capital appreciation by primarily investing in Sovereign Sukuk denominated in Saudi riyals issued by government entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, namely, the Public Debt Management Office of Ministry of Finance, SAMA, and government funds, including sovereign funds, funds that take the form of pension and endowment funds which are fully and directly or indirectly owned by a government entity in accordance with the Fund's Shariah standards. Further, the Fund invests in short term cash instruments (Murabaha), and money market funds in accordance with the Fund's Shariah standards.

Principal Investment Strategies

The Fund primarily invests in the Saudi Market as well as short-term cash instruments (Murabaha) with peer entities supervised by SAMA or a similar entity outside the Kingdom. Moreover, the Fund invests in money market funds that comply with the Fund's Shariah standards, and that are publicly offered and licensed by CMA. The Fund may also invest in derivatives contracts denominated in Saudi Riyals and associated with structured instruments and products, which are in compliance with the Fund's Shariah standards, and which are denominated in Saudi riyals.
